The Atomique has been reformed keeping enough elements from the renovation of 2013 by adopting the style of the 60s with surreal elements and plenty of color. Parts of the space are created with a cosy, homey space layout using several antique furniture and given more emphasis to detail with the various decorative plants, thematic frames and combining geometric shapes with floral and tropical themes fabrics. Two large separate structures on both sides dominate the space. One developed partly through the old book pages and the other creates an interactive dialogue between a Shakespearean character and a woman from the 60s . The fixtures are compositions from antique lights and creating lighting on two levels, diffused with hanging ighting and focused wall lights to create residential light. The central element of the furnishing is the stand where “broadcast” information through the endings of two gramophone speakers.
